To this day, I am ecstatic when someone leaves a comment on my blog.
But there is one thing that is making be bonkers.
EMAIL!
Do you remember when you had your first email address? It was an exciting thing. I just couldn't wait to get my first few emails.

Now, they come at me night and day by the hundreds. It is a true life challenge for a digital gal like myself.
As a blogger, I live with my WordPress dashboard open. Therefore, I quickly notice when someone has left me a comment.
This got me to thinking and I started to question my WordPress comment email notifications. They were silly and pointless for me. For some, they are probably a Godsend but for me, they were just adding to my email nightmare.

This is how I turned off my WordPress Notifications.
Step 1: Log into your WordPress Dashboard
Step 2: Scroll down and click on General Settings
Step 3: Click on Discussion
Step 4: Uncheck "Anyone posts a comment"
Now, my life is just a bit better because there are fewer emails that I need to delete.
If you also decide to uncheck that box, don't forget to log into your blog on a daily basis and check for comments. Remember, responding to comments is as important as creating content, if not more so.
